As a Senior Product Associate, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to clients and users in the Private Markets & Family Office sector. You will contribute to alternative investment and fund accounting products and technology initiatives, addressing inquiries via phone, web, and email to ensure seamless adoption and high client satisfaction. In this role, you'll collaborate in product roadmap planning, transform business requirements into software features, and work closely with engineers throughout the software development lifecycle. You will also support application users, helping to identify customer needs, define new product features, and ensure our products align with both business objectives and user expectations. This is a Hybrid Work position, with potential for travel. Issues (low-volume, high-complexity) and assignments that will challenge you daily An environment where you will work directly with clients, team members, product development, IT, and resources across our office locations to achieve desired results Exposure to the private equity, family office and hedge fund industry accounting practices Excellent Benefit Package including 401K and bonus potential What you will do: Develop client product & operational workflows based on business needs Convey ideas and updates to stakeholders regularly through proper project management and product management Provide world class client service and support by recording client business/accounting issues, monitoring and communicating issue status and driving issues to resolution Work across functional areas (onboarding, support, development, marketing, etc.) within the company to meet client goals Provide analytic skills in research Be recognized as a knowledgeable representative in one or more key application areas Train application users on use and administration of applications Assist in Quality Assurance of new software releases Be familiar and continue to follow the development of the industry and best practices What you will Bring: Strong client-first mindset with ability to manage and exceed expectations, supporting clients both offsite and onsite Proactive, self-driven, and collaborative work style Superior troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to translate business requirements to senior stakeholders & technology teams Proven aptitude to prioritize and manage multiple complex issues in dynamic environment Clear and professional written and verbal communication in English Working knowledge of fund accounting practices and product life cycle Flexibility to support market hours, with occasional (rare) weekend availability Strong organizational and project management skills Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field. 2-5 years of experience in fund accounting, portfolio management, product management, product development, systems implementation/integration, or similar area. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment. Strong capability to interpret business objectives and convert them into clear, actionable product features and strategic initiatives. Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities, meet short-term deadlines, and support long-term objectives. Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail Strong verbal & written communication skills with confidence working directly with clients Advantageous but not required: Background in Partnership Accounting or Trust Accounting or related fund accounting systems Previous experience as a business systems or product analyst Previous experience in working in the family office or private equity market segments Basic technical understanding of APIs, managing and retrieving data from relational databases with languages like ODBC or SQL, and the software development lifecycle Experience working with Agile methodologies and project management tools SS&C offers excellent benefits including health, dental, 401k plan, tuition and professional development reimbursement plan.
