The Website Manager at U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) Headquarters is responsible for overseeing the management, content development, and technical operation of SOCOM's official website and the internal Public Affairs portal. This includes providing layout design and configuring workflows to support content publishing and site development. The Website Manager ensures the smooth operation of the websites, enhances user experience, and contributes to the strategic goals of SOCOM's public affairs and communication efforts. The position requires an individual with extensive experience in web development, content management, and digital analytics, as well as a deep understanding of military and government communication requirements. Website Management and Content Development Website Optimization and User Experience Analytics and Reporting Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Content Strategy Collaboration with Public Affairs and Media Teams Security and Compliance Training and Support Project Management: General Support Experience
Possess active Secret Clearance B.S. or B.A. degree in Communication Science or Information Technology with 2 years of experience in web management developing web portal solutions or 6 years of relevant experience in web management and developing web portal solutions. Minimum 3 years of experience in managing and maintaining high-traffic websites or digital platforms, with a focus on content management, website optimization, and SEO. Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis and reporting using tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and other media tracking platforms to assess website performance. Minimum 3 years of experience practicing cybersecurity awareness related to website management, including knowledge of website security practices, data protection, and risk management.
