Our Office of the General Counsel manages the Firm's legal and regulatory affairs. Our team supports the General Counsel in overseeing the Firm's compliance with laws and regulations, handling internal and external legal matters, and mitigating legal risks. The team is responsible for reviewing and drafting legal documents, advising on corporate governance, and managing relationships with external legal advisors. Additionally, the Office of the General Counsel coordinates legal strategy, ensures adherence to ethical standards, and addresses any legal disputes or challenges that arise. Through our comprehensive legal oversight and strategic counsel, the team ensures that the Firm operates within the bounds of the law while advancing its business objectives effectively.
Position Summary
The Senior Business Analyst is a pivotal role. This position is responsible for translating business requirements into technical actionable solutions, with a particular focus on Intapp applications. The Analyst will drive process improvements, support system enhancements, and facilitate testing and training to ensure the Firm's conflicts and new business intake operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with best practices. They will provide strategic directions to meet business objectives and will have some oversight of internal resources and external third parties. They will lead projects from concept to implementation and will be responsible for inputting into the road map of future enhancements and planning. The Analyst will be joining a high-performing, collaborative department and can expect to contribute to projects and initiatives with global impact from day one.
Duties and Accountabilities1
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team for Intapp software enhancements and other CNB projects. Collaborate with all business leaders to optimize workflows, CNB processes. Translate business requirements into Intapp technical specifications for the Systems team. Work closely with OGC, CNB and other Business Services Teams to understand broader operational needs and challenges. Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure mutual understanding and project alignment. Analyze existing workflows and systems to identify opportunities for process optimization. Participate in the design and implementation of technical solutions that enhance efficiency, compliance, and user experience. Develop and execute test plans for new features and changes. Document and communicate test results, issues, and recommendations. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders, ensuring solutions meet business needs before deployment. Assist in project planning, tracking, and reporting for initiatives involving both business and system teams and vendors, if applicable. Create and maintain documentation for business processes, requirements, and system changes. Facilitate training and support for end-users on Intapp and related systems. Other ad hoc projects as required. Qualifications
Graduate with 10 + relevant and in-depth experience in a professional services firm, ideally within a law firm environment. Hands-on experience with Intapp applications administration (Intapp Open, Conflicts, Walls, Terms, etc.) strongly preferred. Familiarity with MS Project, Excel, ticketing system JIRA or similar is a big plus. Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience with business analysis, project management, process mapping, and testing methodologies. Familiarity with conflicts management, new business intake, or related risk management legal operations is a plus. Good understanding of systems administration and databases Team player with a client-focused approach. Creative and strategic mindset. Ability to work on own initiative and manage competing/conflicting priorities effectively. Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
