Job Title: Contract Paid Media Analyst (Google Ads) Location: On-site in the Greater Phoenix area Duration: 3 month contract, could extend As a Contract Paid Media Analyst, you will own the day-to-day performance of a complex Google Ads ecosystem and related paid media efforts. You will be the go-to expert for optimizing campaigns, troubleshooting issues, and turning performance data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoys getting deep into platforms, numbers, and attribution paths to uncover what’s really driving results. You will manage full-funnel media across Search, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max, ensuring each campaign is structured, targeted, and budgeted for maximum impact. Beyond in-platform optimizations, you will build and maintain performance dashboards that give marketing and leadership teams real-time visibility into spend, conversions, and ROI. You’ll regularly distill complex data into straightforward recommendations that support business decisions and future testing roadmaps. A significant part of your work will center on diagnosing and resolving delivery, tracking, and attribution issues. You will validate conversion tracking, tagging, and platform integrations, working closely with analytics and technical partners to ensure clean, reliable data. Your ability to connect the dots between media metrics and business outcomes will be critical as you refine bidding strategies, audience targeting, creative rotations, and landing page experiences to improve ROAS, lower CPA, and drive scalable growth. Collaboration is key in this on-site role. You will partner with marketing, analytics, and creative teams to align campaigns with broader objectives, share insights, and inform messaging, offers, and testing plans. You’ll regularly present performance updates, explain what’s working (and what isn’t), and propose next steps rooted in data. Your advanced GA4, Looker Studio, and spreadsheet skills will enable you to work confidently with large datasets and complex reporting needs, while your background in performance marketing helps you see both the strategic big picture and the in-platform tactical details. Key Responsibilities Manage, monitor, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max. Troubleshoot campaign delivery, tracking, attribution, and performance issues. Build and maintain performance dashboards in GA4, Looker Studio, or similar BI tools. Analyze paid media data to identify trends, optimization opportunities, and test ideas. Validate and oversee conversion tracking, tagging, and key integrations. Collaborate cross-functionally to align paid media activity with marketing strategies and business goals. Deliver clear reporting and recommendations to improve ROAS, CPA, and channel efficiency. Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands‑on paid media experience with a strong emphasis on Google Ads. Active Google Ads Certification through Google Skillshop. Demonstrated strength in troubleshooting campaigns, tracking, and attribution. Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and tools like Looker Studio. Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and comfort with large datasets. Ability to work on‑site and collaborate closely with cross‑functional stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience in eCommerce, DTC, or high‑growth consumer environments. Familiarity with Google Tag Manager or similar tag management tools.
