Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business goals. Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team in delivering effective human resources services.
Employee Relations:
Develop retention strategies to foster a positive workplace culture and reduce turnover. Act as a trusted advisor to management on employee relations matters. Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs. Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement.
Compensation and Benefits:
Partner with compensation and benefits leader to ensure competitiveness in the market. Periodically review and update the organization's compensation structure.
Performance Management:
Implement performance management processes to drive employee productivity and development. Provide guidance on goal setting, performance feedback, and improvement plans.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
Work with SKIMS corporate to execute initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization. Collaborate with leadership to create an inclusive and supportive work environment.
Compliance and Legal Affairs:
Stay informed about employment laws and regulations, ensuring organizational compliance. Address legal matters related to HR and employee relations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus (SHRM or HRCI).
Proven experience as an HR leader. Experience in the retail industry.
In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to drive HR initiatives that support business objectives. Experience in fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
