As the Fleet Performance & Consulting Manager this is both a strategic and operational client-facing role focused on optimizing customer equipment utilization, reducing operating costs, and maximizing machine uptime through data-driven insights and consulting. You will act as a bridge between the Yancey Bros. Co. service capabilities and the customer\'s operational goals. Primary Responsibilities

Leadership

Financial & Executive Accountability: Own P&L and cost center performance for condition monitoring operations, deliver executive-level reporting and presentations, and participate in dealer advisory boards. Talent Development & Enablement: Develop trusting and empowering teams through coaching and capabilities and career development plans. Operational Excellence: Lead organizational and process improvements to reduce cost, improve WIP management, and capture incremental service revenue and partner with digital solutions team to implement a scalable support models for digital solutions (ticketing, SLAs, automations, reporting). Define roadmaps, KPIs, and data requirements for next-generation fleet management and lifecycle tools. Lead cross-functional collaboration with IT, Insights, Service, Sales, Marketing, and Digital Solutions teams.

Condition Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance

Condition Monitoring: Manage a team of condition monitoring analysts to proactively monitor machine health data (telematics, oil analysis, inspections) to predict failures, reduce downtime, and optimize fleet performance for customers by providing actionable maintenance recommendations, create technical reports, and collaborate with aftermarket teams to improve product support loyalty and conversion rate. Data Analysis: Use telematics, GPS, and IoT sensor data to monitor machine health including engine diagnostics, hydraulic pressure, and fault codes. Fluid Analysis (S•O•S): Use oil and coolant sample results to identify internal engine or component wear before failure occurs. Proactive Scheduling: Shift from reactive repairs to predictive maintenance using real-time data to schedule services just before they are needed. Data Analysis & Consulting: Conduct in-person customer consultations, fleet reviews, and executive-level value discussions. Deliver advanced analyses including utilization, PM accuracy, repeat faults, operator-driven issues, and total cost avoidance.

Fleet Performance

Deep Fleet Insights: Provide actionable insights to customers and the product support teams to drive loyalty and support such as total cost of ownership, utilization and runtime optimization, lifecycle fleet planning and replacement strategy, emissions and fuel efficiency, benchmarking data. Enterprise Connectivity Strategy & Governance: Own end-to-end connectivity strategy including audits, growth, coverage, account and fleet ownership and data hygiene across platforms, product link lifecycle, and customer adoption and retention. VisionLink Product Ownership: Own the customer experience, utilization, and adoption to include continuous improvement, training, demos, marketing, onboarding, subscriptions, and enhancements.

Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner. Other duties as assigned. Who We Are Looking For

To be successful in this position you should have a strong sense of leadership focused on strategic planning, data-driven decision making, and team motivation. You should possess knowledge of heavy equipment fleet management, site protection, and fleet maintenance. Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field is preferred, or equivalent experience in sales/product support. Experience: 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment management, maintenance, or repair. Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment systems (hydraulics, engines, electrical) maintenance and repairs Technology Proficiency: Experience with telematics platforms (e.g., VisionLink, JDLink), data analysis tools (e.g., PowerBI) and CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics CRM). Required Qualifications/Skills

Leadership: Strong leadership skills focused on strategic planning, data-driven decision-making, and team motivation Skills: Strong consulting, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to present to executive leadership. Operational Focus: Knowledge of how heavy equipment fleets are managed, site production, and fleet maintenance Analytical Skills: Ability to collect and interpret telematics data turning raw information into actionable reports on fleet performance, maintenance, and costs. Creative thinking and problem solving ability. Must be highly organized in a fast-paced work environment. Exceptional organizational skills with extreme attention to detail. Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions

Light: Occasionally Lift/Carry/Lower 1 – 15 Lbs, seldom Lift/Carry/Lower 15 – 30 Lbs, never Lift/Carry/Lower +30 Lbs. Occasionally pushing/pulling, reaching (both above and below shoulder), bending/twisting, walking, standing, repetition – hand/wrist simple and firm grasping. Seldom crouching/stooping/squatting, crawling/kneeling, climbing/stepping. Field: While out in the field may encounter customer site environments (less than 25% of the time) which may be extremely hot (over 90 degrees) or cold (less than 40 degrees). Environment may include vibrations, strong odors, moving mechanical parts, flammable liquids and gases, oils and solvents, and walking on gravel/uneven ground. Appropriate PPE maybe required and mandated by the customer. Typically works in a temperature controlled office. Travel up to 20% within designated region to visit customer sites. Values
