PATH is seeking candidates passionate about helping others make a positive change to join our ICMS Team as the Associate Director of Programs, based in our main office in Los Angeles, California. ABOUT PATH Since its foundation in 1984, PATH (People Assisting the Homeless) has pioneered bold and effective approaches to assist people experiencing homelessness. PATH operates services throughout California, connecting clients to a continuum of homelessness prevention, street outreach, employment preparation and placement assistance, individualized case management, supportive services, interim housing, and permanent supportive housing. ABOUT OUR SUPPORTIVE HOUSING SERVICES Our Supportive Housing Services (SHS) programs provide Intensive Case Management Services (ICMS) in a Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) setting to individuals with homelessness and chronic health, mental health, or co-occurring conditions. Services are centralized and provided on-site to ensure access to resources for long-term housing stabilization, improved quality of life, and community integration. ABOUT THE ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR As part of the Interim Housing Team, the Associate Director works under the supervision of the director to oversee programmatic operations. They will lead, direct, and supervise program managers, team supervisors, and direct service staff. Position Responsibilities : Under the guidance of the department director, oversee all aspects of program operations. Provide direct supervision to program managers and team supervisors who oversee the teams. Ensure adherence to funding source contracts and performance standards; prepare written reports on program activities as assigned and as required by funding sources. Provide leadership that reflects the organization's mission, vision, and values to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure appropriate data collection and reporting as required by funders, government entities, and agency senior management. Prepare progress and performance reports for internal and external communication. Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning and scheduling ongoing workload assignments; setting and adjusting work to be accomplished by staff; adjusting program and project priorities; and preparing schedules for work completion. WHAT YOU BRING We’re looking for candidates with: Analytical Skills and Attention to Detail: Gather and interpret data, identify trends and insights to inform decision-making. Ensure accuracy and precision in all tasks. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work effectively with others, build positive relationships with colleagues, participants, and stakeholders, and contribute to team goals. Communication: Convey information clearly and effectively (verbal and written) to individuals and groups. Creativity and Initiative: Take initiative, be proactive, and generate innovative solutions. Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Analyze information, identify key issues, consider alternatives, and make sound decisions. Ethics and Boundaries: Maintain ethical and professional standards and maintain professional boundaries. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Six (6) years of experience in healthcare, case management, homeless services, or working with vulnerable populations. Two (2) years of supervisory experience in homeless services or related social services field strongly preferred MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS To be considered, candidates require: Four (4) years of experience in healthcare, case management, homeless services, or working with vulnerable populations. One (1) year of supervisory experience in homeless services or related social services field MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS Regardless of qualifications, candidates must: Have employment eligibility verification Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training Complete the following as a condition of hire:
