Overview
Location: John Howard Society of York Region. Job Type: Volunteer. The John Howard Society of York Region seeks adult residents within the Region with a passion for maintaining healthy communities through crime prevention, intervention, and reintervention. You will have demonstrated leadership skills and be committed to partnering with the Board and Executive Director to provide excellence in oversight and strategic leadership. You have a reputation for sound judgment and open mindedness, and a demonstrated capacity for thoughtful group decision-making. Responsibilities
Attend monthly or quarterly Board meetings (approximately 3 hours per meeting). Participate in committees as assigned. Commit to voluntary service with the initial Term of Office being one year. Work with the Board and Executive Director to provide governance oversight and strategic leadership. Application information
