On-site leadership of one location overseeing physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, with managerial, clinical, and administrative duties focused on team members, patients, and customer experience. Clinical Oversight: Ensure delivery of PT, OT, and SLP services at high standards of clinical excellence and evidence-based practice; monitor quality of care and guide improvements. Compliance and Regulation: Enforce compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and standards; ensure licensure and certifications are current. Staff Development: Mentor and lead ongoing professional development and training programs for PTs, OTs, and SLPs to foster clinical skills and best practices. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Promote effective collaboration among PT, OT, and SLP to maximize outcomes. Resource Management: Allocate physical, financial, and human resources across sites to meet operational needs while optimizing patient care and staff satisfaction. Support the Mission, Values, and Vision of TMC and the facility. Lead and direct the work of others; use data and clinical judgment to ensure appropriate therapy delivery and discharge outcomes. Plan and schedule staff based on patient clinical needs; maintain communication with facility teams regarding plan variances affecting reimbursement and outcomes. Address deviations in the care plan, assist with stabilization, and support safe discharge and reduced re-hospitalization risk. Assist with training on coding, documentation, and assessment to support continuity of utilization and medical necessity. Promote clinical programs within the market with quality outcome reporting and hospital relationships; supervise new-hire orientation and onboarding. Participate in facility and company meetings; ensure accurate, timely paperwork for Medicare and company requirements; oversee billing and payroll logs per policy. Manage and support therapists to maximize patient care and efficiency; communicate policy changes to the team. Maintain a positive work environment and uphold the TMC experience; support special programs and clinical program enhancements. Complete performance appraisals for therapy staff and participate in hiring/promotion decisions as appropriate. Counsel staff per PGAP procedures with approval from Area Manager/Regional Director/VP Operations/HR; enforce appropriate discipline processes. Ensure supplies and equipment are available; comply with discipline-specific job requirements; assist registered therapists with procedures and programs. Develop professional relationships with staff, facilities, residents, and families; communicate facility, patient, and staff issues to the Area Manager promptly. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology program. Certified assistants (PTA or COTA) also qualify. Current license/certification in the state of practice. 2+ years of healthcare experience; long-term care setting preferred. Knowledge of Medicare, insurance, and resident rights. Benefits
