Role overview: AWS is looking for a Machine Learning Solutions Architect (ML SA) who will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for helping customers in the AMERICAS design solutions that leverage GenAI services, including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Amazon SageMaker, and Amazon Quick. You will work with customers to enable large-scale use cases, design GenAI pipelines, and drive adoption of AWS AI/ML platforms. You will interact with other SAs, develop white papers, blogs, reference implementations, and presentations, and provide customer-driven feedback to product teams. You must have deep technical experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning and/or deep learning. A strong mathematics and statistics background is preferred, along with experience building complex machine learning models and fine-tuning LLMs including Open Source LLMs. Knowledge of the GenAI software vendor ecosystem will help in customer selection processes. Travel up to 25% across the AMERICAS may be possible. Key job responsibilities
Work with customers’ development and data science teams to deeply understand business and technical needs, and design solutions that leverage AWS cloud platform and AI/ML services (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend, Rekognition, AgentCore, Personalize, and other Bedrock-hosted LLMs). Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development and the AI/ML Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and revenue attainment in the AMERICAS for SageMaker and related GenAI services. Evangelize AWS ML services and share best practices through blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events (AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc.). Act as a technical liaison between customers and AWS SageMaker or other service teams to provide customer-driven product feedback. Develop and support an internal AWS GenAI community in the AMERICAS. Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience in technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics). 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures. 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries. Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of technology/software sales experience. Experience in a technical role within a sales organization. Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
