This role is ideal for candidates with commercial airline experience, especially those familiar with Revenue Management, Network Planning, Pricing, Codeshare/Interline, Sales, Loyalty, or Alliances. You will help manage a portfolio of American's global airline partners, coordinating commercial, operational, regulatory, and financial workstreams that directly influence AA's network, customer offering, and revenue performance. This is a highly cross-functional role with meaningful exposure to partner airlines and leaders across AA. What you'll do: Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for partner airlines, handling communication, resolving issues, and keeping partnership activity on track Build strong, trust-based relationships with partner airlines and AA teams, using collaboration and influence to keep stakeholders aligned and initiatives moving forward Bring structure and organization to partnership workstreams through clear project management practices, helping teams stay coordinated Support and lead components of Interline, Codeshare, Frequent Flyer (FFP), and rate negotiations, from drafting through execution Coordinate codeshare regulatory filings in partnership with Government Affairs and Legal, ensuring compliance with all required authorities Analyze commercial and operational performance, including revenue contribution, codeshare performance, and competitive trends to identify opportunities for improvement Manage budgets and invoice approvals for assigned partners Prepare executive level briefing materials, including CEO and senior leadership updates Develop dashboards and data visualizations to monitor partner performance, identify trends, and support commercial decision-making Work closely with Network Planning, Revenue Management, Sales, AAdvantage, Regulatory, Legal, Operations, and partner airlines to execute partnership initiatives Drive continuous improvement, issue resolution, and strategic alignment across all partnership activities All you'll need for success: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure complex problems and generate creative solutions MBA degree Commercial airline experience strongly preferred (RM, Pricing, Network, Sales, Loyalty, Alliances, or related areas) Understanding of airline partnerships, codeshare, interline or loyalty structures Strong relationship building and influence skills across diverse internal and external teams Excellent project management and cross-functional coordination capabilities Contract negotiation, decision support and financial oversight Clear, concise communication skills, including with senior leadership Strong quantitative, writing and presentation development abilities Familiarity with airline datasets (DDS, Diio, MIDT, T100) Experience using SQL and Tableau or similar tools Ability to build consensus and work collaboratively across teams with different perspectives What you'll get: Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
