We're looking for an exceptional Supply Chain & Logistics Director to helm our expansive, multi-site 500,000 sq. ft. distribution center in Pendergrass, GA. With 200 dedicated employees under your guidance, you'll play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the flow of diverse product types.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all matters related to Regional Distribution, Supply Chain and Transportation.
  • Manage Regional Distribution Center budget.
  • Serve as primary contact for all RDC questions.
  • Responsible for compliance in all matters related to domestic and International shipping, customs and import/export requirements and transportation documentation.
  • Responsible for performance process improvements and service accountability.
  • Monitor vendor performance in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison with RealTruck logistics related matters.
  • Exemplify and promote company’s core values.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, and supply chain management, including at least 7+ years in a senior leadership role managing large, complex RDCs with high-volume, multi-channel operations.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale operations, leading cross-functional teams, and driving operational excellence in a high-volume distribution environment.
  • Proven ability to foster teamwork and mentor people professionally.
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work activities to meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to network professionally.
  • Ability to coordinate activities and work with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prepare and complete action plans, resolve problems, identify trends, and determine system improvements.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Advanced Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (advanced functions and data analysis), Word (document management and reporting), and PowerPoint (presentation design and delivery). Hands‑on experience with web‑based Order Management Systems (OMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Preferred familiarity with Manhattan Associates software solutions or similar industry‑leading systems.
  • Outstanding Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Highly effective in building professional networks, fostering productive stakeholder relationships, and articulating ideas clearly and persuasively across all organizational levels.
  • Resilient and Adaptable: Demonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic, evolving environments while consistently meeting or exceeding productivity and performance metrics. Skilled at managing ambiguity and driving outcomes in the face of organizational change.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manager+: Plans, organizes, evaluates, and directs the employees within the department function. Has up to three direct reports.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is subject to light work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently.
  • This position is subject to the following physical activities: standing, walking, talking, and hearing.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal.
  • This position will be subject to both an office environment and warehouse environment, working near the shipping and receiving docks.
