About The Role
The Inside Sales Administrator is responsible for the travel agency, wholesale, onboard and international sales channels to provide support through travel advisor support and service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for travel agencies, wholesalers, and international travel partners
Provide inbound and outbound phone and email support for travel advisors seeking sales direction for new inquiries, existing reservations, and customer service assistance
Provide travel advisors with promotional materials & collateral as requested
Handle travel advisor escalations and liaison with the relevant departments to resolve
Provide commission reconciliation support
Manage records, cases and communication via Salesforce pertaining to new and existing advisors and agencies
Assist with all travel advisor educational travel requests
Maintain and update travel agency database in Salesforce, Seaware, and advisor training platform
Provide administrative support for the sales department by submitting client invoices as needed
Maintain a friendly and outgoing disposition, assisting in strengthening our relationship with all B2B partners
Attend industry events, as permitted depending on workload
Other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
2+ years in sales and customer service support in the travel industry preferred
Excellent English verbal and writing skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Maintain a thorough knowledge of product, policies, and procedures
Excellent skills in administration, detail-oriented, strong time management with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent phone communication skills
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Attendance at industry events required as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Hands on user experience with Salesforce
Hands on user experience with Seaware reservation system

Compensation Statement
Lindblad Expeditions determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant’s location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
