Wieland is hiring a Inside Sales Supervisor. The Inside Sales Supervisor will lead and manage the Inside Sales department to ensure customer needs are met. Support company goals including profitability, on-time performance and inventory turn. This role is located in Wheeling, IL and will be fully on-site. While this role is local, occasional travel to other locations will be required (10% travel). Base Salary Range: $77,000 - $87,000 May be eligible for a variable compensation plan bonus based upon company performance within fiscal year cycle. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be based upon various factors unique to each individual that may include but are not limited to years of experience, industry knowledge, technical skills, education, qualifications, etc. Responsibilities
Develop inside sales staff through various training initiatives to expand product knowledge and to sharpen team problem-solving skills. Continuously grow Inside Sales staff knowledge of products, markets, and division objectives to better service customers and meet company goals. Use job knowledge and understanding of Company objectives to make reasoned decisions regarding customer pricing and inventory utilization to maximize contribution margin. Work closely with production and quality teams to assist with customer concerns or complaints and resolve in a timely manner which promotes continuous customer satisfaction. Regularly works with FI to coordinate collection activities and monitor outstanding balances. Support customers with forecast reviews, determining delivery dates, special requests, follow-up, and supplying information for purchase orders and quotes. Manage the communication flow between Manufacturing, Production Control, Inside Sales and Outside Sales to coordinate the development and maintenance of new and existing customers. Responsible for monthly reporting and metrics that include forecasting and monthly booking data and trends to support sales KPI goals and targets. Oversee Customer Portal Management and ensure department is correctly utilizing the data and details for each customer. Accurately manage and track monthly metal contracts within SAP (PMA/CFF/CDO etc) in coordination with metal procurement team. Inside Sales Supervisor Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent, with 2–4 years of customer service experience. Preferred: Previous supervisory or lead experience. Preferred: Proficiency with SAP, Power BI, and Microsoft Office at an intermediate level. Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably HVAC or metal manufacturing. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and accurately. Demonstrated ability to use tact, diplomacy, and professionalism when interacting with a wide range of personalities. Ability to travel up to 10% as needed. Qualifications
