
Outside Sales Representative

We are looking to hire a motivated and enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new commercial leads and driving new permanent sales. To be a successful Outside Sales Representative, you should be persuasive and have excellent negotiation skills.
Responsibilities Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business. Demonstrate strong knowledge of the metal recycling industry. Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas. Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product and service needs. Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any hardships that may arise.
Required Skills/Abilities Excellent sales and negotiation skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to function well in a high paced environment. Ability to solve problems and/or customer complaints. Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred but not required. At least two years’ experience in cold call sales with a proven track record. Basic knowledge of metals or manufacturing industry.
Physical Requirements Must be able to travel six or more hours a day.
