We produce everything from business cards and brochures to large-format signage, banners, step-and-repeat backdrops, foam board displays, and event materials. We work with businesses nationwide and specialize in
fast turnaround and event printing . We are expanding our presence in
San Diego’s hospitality and event industry
and are looking for a driven outside sales professional to build strategic relationships with hotels, event venues, and event planners.
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced
Outside Sales Representative
to develop new business relationships in the
San Diego hospitality and events industry .
Your primary focus will be building partnerships with:
Hotels that host conferences and events
Event venues
Event planners
Corporate event coordinators
Wedding planners
Convention organizers
Your mission is to position
PrintSteals as the go-to printing partner for events .
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and approach hotels, event venues, and event planners in the San Diego region
Develop long-term relationships with decision makers
Secure preferred vendor status with venues and planners
Sales Pipeline Creation
Generate new leads through networking and prospecting
Schedule meetings and presentations
Build a consistent pipeline of event printing opportunities
Relationship Management
Maintain ongoing relationships with hospitality and event professionals
Ensure PrintSteals becomes the
trusted printing partner for recurring events
Event Industry Networking
Attend networking events, hospitality mixers, and industry gatherings
Represent PrintSteals within the local event community
Collaboration
Work with the PrintSteals production team to ensure smooth fulfillment
Communicate project requirements clearly
Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone with
strong sales ability and relationship-building skills .
Requirements
Proven track record in B2B sales
Strong networking and relationship-building ability
Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable prospecting and meeting decision-makers
Preferred (but not required)
Experience selling to hotels, venues, or event planners
Hospitality industry experience
Event industry connections
Print or marketing services sales experience
