Sales Account Manager

to the B.W. Clark team.

Candidates must reside in the Charleston, South Carolina area in order to effectively support customers across the territory. In this role, you will build and maintain strong customer relationships, s upport OEMs and industrial manufacturers with technical automation solutions , and drive new business opportunities across the Southeastern United States. This position plays a key role in delivering integrated, end-to-end automation solutions while contributing to the continued expansion of Tavoron’s Automation Distribution segment. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Strategic Growth Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new B2B accounts to expand B.W. Clark’s market share across the industrial landscape. Execute strategic outbound activities, including site walk-throughs and in-person meetings, to establish relationships with decision-makers from maintenance staff to the C-suite. targets through the development and execution of customer-specific strategies focused on profitable, sustainable growth. Nurture leads and prospects through the entire sales cycle to ensure the project pipeline remains full with an appropriate mix of products and engineered solutions. Relationship Stewardship & Technical Consultative Selling Serve as the primary advocate and "Trusted Advisor" for B.W. Clark customers by managing relationships across all functional areas, including Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Accounting, and Purchasing. Spend significant time on-site to identify customer priorities, understand specific application challenges, and communicate those needs to the appropriate technical resources for solution support. Coordinate internal and external resources to provide technical training, product presentations, and comprehensive pre- and post-sales support to the customer base. Operational Excellence Utilize internal tools—including ERP, CRM, and Office 365—to provide professional, timely quotes and follow-up, ensuring no opportunity or customer need is overlooked. Maintain and continuously update project information within the CRM to provide leadership with accurate sales forecasts and performance reports. Manage project coordination seamlessly with the internal Applications Engineering and Customer Service teams to ensure end-to-end fulfillment of complex automation systems. Qualifications & Required Traits 5+ years of

outside industrial sales experience Experience selling

automation or electrical control components Background working with

manufacturers or OEMs Knowledge of

PLCs, sensors, motion, or industrial networking Strong

prospecting and relationship-building skills Experience using

CRM Platforms and quoting systems Experience ERP systems used in distribution environments Engineering or technical degree (preferred but not mandatory) Physical Demands.
