About the Team:
Based in Northville, MI and reporting to the Sales Director, the Sales Manager oversees ZF’s Foundation Brakes product line for Ford across the North American market.
What you can look forward to as a Sales Manager
Hunting for additional business within ZF’s PL Foundation Brakes with focus on EMB, FC and EPB.
Supporting the ongoing efforts of advanced development activities with Ford in the North American region.
Maintaining ZF’s existing Foundation Brakes business with focus on EMB.
Participating as a member of the cross-functional teams supporting ZF’s Chassis Solution Division’s strategic activities.
Facilitating the formation of successful Sales plans with proper product/market alignment and activities with the global (e.g., Europe and China) team.
Supporting strategic planning processes for technology, supply base, manufacturing process, footprint, and customer targeting.
Leading regular management reviews and regular business development routines (e.g., CQ, battle planning, Sales target review).
Assisting and supporting business capture activities across functions, including target review, GB and pricing review, sales and engineering workshop, CSR preparation and Key battle plan review.
Your profile as a Sales Manager
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 7 years’ experience with passenger vehicles account management, preferably with Ford, GM or Stellantis
Capable of coordinating simultaneous business acquisitions with global teams
Capable of managing account profitability and customer expectations while driving results both internally and externally
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable
Capable of traveling throughout the U.S. and Mexico up to 4 times annually
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future.
Preferred experience with Ford specific sales systems/tools (e.g., Ford Covisint)
Preferred experience with Chassis type products (e.g., brakes, steering, axles, etc.)
