Position Overview
The Leisure Sales Specialist will be responsible for supporting all Leisure Sales activities, including the coordination of details related to tour operator and travel agent bookings, guest experience, communication with related departments, etc. Leisure Sales channels include but are not limited to, Domestic and International Air/Hotel Package Operators, Global Receptives, Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), as well as high-end room/suite products to be sold through the Global Distribution System (GDS), Retail and Corporate Travel Agents, Travel Management Companies (TMCs), Luxury Consortiums, etc. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: Offer administrative support to the Leisure Sales team Collaborate with the Sales Managers to communicate promotions, prepare presentations, and coordinate details of guest bookings Work closely with Tour Operators, Travel Agents, and related departments (including Marketing, Accounting, Hotel Operations, etc.) to ensure excellent customer service and the highest level of accuracy in servicing guest details Prepare and edit sales documents such as contracts, addendums, guest itineraries, etc. Assist in maintaining customer accounts and booking databases Process customer arrangements to include, but not limited to, hotel reservations, transportation, amenities, dining reservations, and room upgrades in a friendly and efficient manner Prepare business travel arrangements and expense reports Analyze competitive pricing, market, and industry trends Track KPIs to monitor account performance Coordinate engagements to include site inspections, fam visits, presentations, webinars, and partner entertainment to secure future business Receive customer inquiries by phone/online and redirect them as needed Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hotel Administration, Marketing, or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Two (2) years of administrative experience in Hotel Sales (Leisure or Group) or Third-Party Distribution, preferably for a 5-star/luxury resort Proficiency in software including Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment (i.e. telephone, copier, projector, etc.) Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Extraordinary attention to detail, while working under tight deadlines Ability to resolve problems to the satisfaction of both the guest and the Company Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business Cross-cultural experience preferred Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
