WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The Commercial Real Estate Credit Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting credit analysis and portfolio management for our Commercial Real Estate segment. In this role, you will engage in credit data analysis, underwriting, and portfolio reviews, helping to facilitate credit risk recommendations. You will be entrusted with a portfolio of lower-complexity loans and relationships, working collaboratively with team members to uphold high standards of credit quality and compliance. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Provide underwriting and proactive portfolio management expertise to the Bank's CRE clients, which include private individuals, family offices, and institutional investors/developers.

You will partner with experienced Portfolio Managers to assess and manage CRE credit exposure, leveraging internal and external resources.

Support a diverse portfolio of CRE loans and credit products, including term, bridge, construction, and unsecured lending.

Conduct credit analysis to evaluate the creditworthiness of borrowers, guarantors, and sponsors.

Engage in performance monitoring through portfolio management activities, including regular reviews and covenant tracking.

Analyze credit data, market and industry reports, and prepare presentations to inform underwriting and portfolio management decisions.

Support effective risk management practices, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory standards while maintaining high credit quality.

Work closely with your team to ensure smooth credit operations and participate in special projects that align with organizational goals.

Show a strong desire to learn and develop underwriting and portfolio management skills, seeking opportunities for professional growth and ultimately aiming to manage your own portfolio of credits.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of credit underwriting and portfolio management experience in relevant industries.

Additional Qualifications Intermediate experience in credit management and lending operations, with a solid understanding of risk management principles.

A strong desire to develop leadership and coaching skills, with the capability to train and guide others.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Good analytical skills, adept at interpreting complex data and making informed decisions.

Industry-specific knowledge and expertise in Commercial Real Estate.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $34.55 - $55.19 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
