Marketing Intern Position Terran Orbital is seeking a motivated
Marketing Intern
to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the
Director, Marketing & Communications , the Marketing Intern will support content creation, social media management, and storytelling efforts across the organization. They will help produce original written, visual, and multimedia content; assist with editorial projects such as blogs, press materials, and stakeholder interviews; and contribute research and creative ideas that strengthen brand messaging. The intern will also help manage day‑to‑day social media activities, track engagement and analytics, and support digital campaigns. In addition, they may contribute photography, video editing, and basic design work to enhance the company’s visual communications.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop original content for social media, website, newsletters, and internal communications
Assist in drafting blog posts, press materials, and executive messaging
Research industry trends and contribute story ideas
Support campaign messaging and brand storytelling initiatives
Assist with day-to-day management of company social media accounts
Draft, schedule, and publish posts across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, etc.)
Monitor engagement and provide performance insights
Track analytics and support monthly reporting
Conduct interviews with internal stakeholders
Draft feature stories and spotlight articles
Support press release development and media research
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice and editorial standards
Capture high-quality photos of events, team members, products, and company activities
Assist in editing short-form and long-form video content for social media and digital campaigns
Support basic graphic design tasks as needed
Required Qualifications and Skills
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
Able to work full time, onsite for 8 – 12 weeks starting in June 2026
Strong writing and editing skills
Interest in journalism and storytelling
Experience with social media platforms and trends
Photography skills highly preferred
Video editing experience is a plus (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
Basic knowledge of Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
U.S. Person or lawful permanent resident to comply with U.S. government space technology export regulations
Salary Range
Freshman/Sophomore - $20 per hour
Junior - $22.50 per hour
Senior/Graduate - $25 per hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Physical Demands An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. In performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time, in addition to bending, reaching, and walking. This would require the ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. This position is generally sedentary, with substantial computer usage.
Work Environment The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
