The Dermot Company, a New York City based real estate developer and operator is seeking a
Leasing& MarketingIntern
to join our team during the summer months, June - August.
This is an onsite position with work hours of 9 to 6pm, including weekends.
WHAT YOU’LL GAIN DURING THIS INTERNSHIP
Introduction and basic understanding of residential real estate in a luxury building
Enhancing your customer service skills and learning best practices in dealing with prospects and residents
How to best create a marketing strategy to generate leads
Working with social media and website updates to bring awareness to our properties
Reporting on leasing activities and market surveys
Qualifying prospects and scheduling viewings
Basics of leasing and preleasing and applicable paperwork
Touring prospects throughout a property and guiding them through the leasing process
ABOUT YOU AND WHAT YOU OFFER
A genuine interest in the real estate industry
Prior office work experience
Familiarity of social media and communication technology platform
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, presentation and organization skills
Ability to anticipate the needs of others and easily adapt to rapidly evolving situations
A strong work ethic and commitment to meet deadlines
Ability to work on weekends
Proficiency in Google Suite, MSOffice
Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without any restrictions whatsoever
