Wahl Clipper Corporation, the world leader in cutting hair, has an exciting opportunity for a talented Marketing student to join our award-winning company, headquartered in Sterling, IL.
This role will help support the Digital Marketing team and initiatives in the US business. The ideal candidate will be working with all members of the digital team from design, content creation, PIM/DAM support, to customer service. We are looking for a reliable and creative individual to join the team. As mentioned below under requirements, this position will be working in several different design programs and online platforms. Participant must be flexible, detail oriented and willing to learn, but also have working knowledge and experience in most of the platforms listed below. This position will report directly to the Consumer Digital Marketing Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Creating social content posts using brand guidelines
Developing email marketing creative in-line with active campaigns
Supporting digital customer review platforms & analysis
Data collection and organization for PIM system using Excel
Editing and creating above the fold & below the fold digital creative assets
Taking/editing photos & developing creative briefs
SEO/AEO/GEO research and execution for DTC & online retail
Weekly online content review
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Current undergraduate, Junior/Senior level preferred or recently graduated
Pursuing a degree or has a strong demonstrated passion for Communications, Business, Visual Arts, Design, Film, Marketing, or similar
Experience using Adobe Suite, required – specifically illustrator, photoshop, and after effects
Experience using Microsoft Suite – specifically Excel and PowerPoint
3D experience is preferred, not required
Photography/Lighting skills preferred
Must be a creative thinker
Must be a quick learner
Must be reliable and a self-starter
