Overview
Marketing Intern Job Description Summary of Position: As the part-time Summer Marketing Intern at La Vida Hospitality, this individual will work alongside a talented and collaborative team of marketing professionals who support all LVH restaurant brands including Big Chill, Crooked Hammock Brewery and Taco Reho. This role partners with the Brand & Marketing Coordinator and LVH Marketing Team to bring campaigns, events, brand activations, and community initiatives to life throughout the summer season across multiple concepts within the portfolio. This is a hands-on opportunity for a creative, organized, and energetic student looking for real-world hospitality marketing experience. You will be required to complete a summer project before returning back to school. The atmosphere is casual and exciting. Must Enjoy the Ride! This part-time role offers up to 30 hours/week.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of on-site marketing events and brand activations
Support community partnerships and represent the brand at local events when needed
Assist in the production of marketing materials
Capture real-time photo and video content for social media during events
Assist in creating content for social media, website updates, and promotional materials
Support the execution of marketing campaigns across digital and in-store platforms
Help distribute promotional materials and maintain marketing collateral inventory
Involvement in bi-weekly marketing meetings for each brand & assist with the coordination of deliverables
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the marketing team
Live as a brand ambassador and make decisions in the best interest of the company every time

Qualifications
Current college student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field
Advanced written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work within a team
Self-starter with a positive, team-first attitude
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Must be 21+ or older
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
Ability to work approximately 30–35 hours per week
Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
Professional appearance, punctual, and reliable
Hospitality soul
Proficiency in basic computer applications, word processing, Google Suite, Excel spreadsheet, social media apps (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.))
