
Marketing Intern

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team with a focus on supporting AccuWeather for Business. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in marketing who is eager to gain hands‑on experience in sales strategy, creative development, and go‑to‑market planning.
This paid internship runs for approximately 10 to 12 weeks and requires a commitment of about 20 hours per week. The internship also must be completed onsite at AccuWeather Headquarters in State College, PA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Update and maintain our existing library of category pitch decks, including refreshing imagery and research statistics.
Manage incoming creative mock requests through our team’s internal portal, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate mock‑ups.
Assist in the creation and revision of go‑to‑market one‑sheets and other sales enablement materials.
Support broader integrated marketing initiatives across digital, social, email, and experiential channels as needed.
Conduct research to uncover category trends, competitive insights, and industry developments relevant to advertising partners.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute strategic, creative thinking to campaign development.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with communications, creative, and digital teams to ensure alignment and consistency across all materials.
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field (juniors, seniors, and recent graduates encouraged to apply).
Available to work in our State College, PA office and start as soon as possible.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with platforms such as Canva, Hootsuite, HubSpot, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Demonstrated interest in marketing, branding, or media through coursework, extracurriculars, or previous internships.
Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative mindset.
