Overview
Summer Marketing Internship – 2026
LEARN. CREATE. ANALYZE. JFS Consulting is seeking a small cohort of 2–6 interns to support marketing content creation, copywriting, social media campaigns, and performance analytics. Interns will work directly with the COO, the internal operations team, company leadership, and our marketing team to collaborate as a focused team responsible for shaping and measuring JFS’s external voice. This internship is designed for individuals who want hands-on experience, exposure to leadership decisionmaking, visibility into how an internal team works alongside an external marketing agency, and ownership over real, published work.
ABOUT US: Founded in 2018, JFS Consulting is a professional services and management consulting firm specializing in healthcare (with an emphasis on rural healthcare), non-profit, and service-based organizations. We support clients through financial consulting, accounting services, tax planning & strategy, operational improvement, revenue cycle management, and fractional CFO services. Our work sits at the intersection of finance, operations, strategy, and leadership. We are frequently engaged in rural turnaround and recovery efforts, helping hospitals and community institutions regain financial stability and continue serving the communities that depend on them.
Responsibilities
Content & Copywriting:
Draft LinkedIn posts, newsletters, website content, and campaign copy. Translate complex financial and operational topics into clear, engaging language. Support thought leadership tied to healthcare finance, operations, and leadership.
Social Media & Campaign Support:
Assist with organic and paid campaign execution. Support content calendars and posting schedules. Contribute creative concepts, hooks, and calls to action. Design marketing collateral.
Analytics & Performance Insights:
Track engagement, reach, and campaign performance metrics. Assist with simple reporting and insight summaries. Identify trends and opportunities to improve content effectiveness.
Collaboration: You’ll work closely with our COO and internal and external marketing teams to bring creativity, clarity, structure, and strategic insight.

What You Bring
Skills & Interests:
Strong written communication skills. Interest in marketing, analytics, consulting, finance, or operations. Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently. Curious, accountable, and eager to learn.
Nice to Have (Not Required):
Experience with LinkedIn, Microsoft SharePoint, Canva, Buffer or basic marketing, scheduling, project management, or analytics tools. Coursework or projects in marketing, communications, or business.
Compensation This is an unpaid internship with flexible hours and location (5-20 hours per week over 12-16 weeks and fully remote). Academic credit may be available depending on your institution.
