Position Summary Clayton offers a multitude of different opportunities through our Summer Internship Program. The Clayton Summer Internship Program challenges students to think critically and analytically within their field of study while allowing them direct, hands-on working experience. The Corporate Marketing Intern will provide assistance with market research and analysis projects that will allow the Marketing team to better serve the organization.

Internship Program Details

Internships are paid, full-time, hourly positions.

Internship dates are May 18th – August 7th 2026

Internships include several professional development workshops and opportunities for networking with other interns across Clayton's various lines of business.

Interns will facilitate a presentation of their Summer project to Clayton Senior Leadership at the completion of their internship.

What You Will Do

Assist with end-to-end marketing research in areas of brand perception, or other ad hoc studies

Attend meetings with stakeholders during discovery process

Survey design

Survey programming

Data fielding and scrubbing

Survey analysis

Create survey results report/presentation

Additional secondary research support to the business as needed

What Skills You Will Learn Or Develop

Direct experience in developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders

Market research industry best practices

Survey development & execution

Hands-on experience with surveying platforms

Data analysis

Qualifications

Must be a rising junior, senior, or recent graduate majoring in Marketing, Business, Consumer Insights or related field.

Excellent presentation skills required.

Strong research and analytical skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Driven and willing to learn

Strong collaboration skills

Coursework completed (or experience) in market research a plus

Experience in surveying platforms (Qualtrics preferred) a plus
