Experience using
SolidWorks
or similar CAD software
Completion of at least two years of mechanical engineering-related coursework from an accredited engineering program
Ideal Candidate
Junior or senior class standing
Strong working knowledge of CAD modeling and design (e.g.,
SolidWorks )
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively
Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment
Potential Projects
Support the department's ongoing 3D model development efforts through CAD model checking and development
Provide technical support to field sales by assisting with product issue resolution
Assist design engineers with finite element analysis (FEA) projects and documentation
