POSITION SUMMARY
As a Wood Product Specialist, you will partner with the Product Manager to drive sales and provide invaluable technical assistance within your product category. Collaborating closely with our sales team, you will develop customized equipment solutions designed to meet our customers’ unique needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support the sales team by crafting and refining sales documents, presentations, proposals, and recommendations for both existing and potential customers.
Analyze customer operations to develop tailored solutions that address specific needs.
Work collaboratively with sales personnel and customers to execute business plans and commitments, maximizing sales potential and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Provide ongoing technical support to the service team.
Contribute creatively to promotional efforts, including press releases and trade publications, to enhance visibility and showcase our industry leadership.
Act as a liaison between Parts/Service, Sales, and customers to ensure efficient management of equipment, parts, and service orders.
Deliver engaging training sessions for employees and customers on new equipment, modifications, enhancements, and improvements.
Stay informed about the competitive landscape to monitor trends in equipment, pricing, and promotions.
Collaborate with customers to recommend and demonstrate software solutions that align with their business requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
Three to five years of relevant experience in the panel processing industry or in a technical support role.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong administrative and customer service skills.
Effective presentation capabilities.
