Responsibilities:
Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate estimates for Tel/Data and Security systems (AV experience is a plus)
Develop detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and determine labor requirements for project bids
Prepare and submit RFIs (Requests for Information) during the bidding process
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions
Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and supporting documentation
Requirements:
3-5 years of estimating experience in Tel/Data or Security industries (AV preferred but not required)
Strong knowledge of construction documents, drawings, and specifications
Proficiency with estimating software and tools preferred
Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability, and analytical skills
Reliable, dependable, and able to manage time effectively
Valid driver's license required
