Social Media Marketing Intern: Fall 2023
Observer Media, home to digital media platforms Observer and Commercial Observer, is looking for a creative and analytical intern to help grow awareness of our brand and develop our audience through social media analysis and content creation.
The Social Media Intern will gain hands‑on experience in audience development for a premier online editorial platform and have the opportunity to collaborate directly with senior leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Draft social media posts for
observer.com
Assist with weekly and monthly insights and analytics tracking
Research, compile and present on industry trends and benchmarks
Research, create and present a competitive analysis
Compile list of influencers to target for engagement
Create agenda and track action items for weekly social media stakeholder meeting
QUALIFICATIONS:
Eligible for college credit.
Ability to spend at least one full day per week at our Manhattan office; there may be opportunities to do some work remotely.
Passion for communications and social media
Basic understanding of social media analytics tools, Google Analytics and Canva or Photoshop are useful, but not required.
Willingness to learn quickly.
Desire to take on responsibility and provide creative suggestions.
