
Marketing Intern

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team for the summer. This position offers hands‑on experience supporting media relations, drafting press releases, composing newsletter articles and assisting in the execution of public‑facing campaigns and events leading up to and during The Big E.
The role requires attendance and participation at four promotional events, which take place outside of normal business operating hours.
This position runs from August 3 - October 5, 2026.
Position Responsibilities & Requirements
Successful completion of at least two semesters (or equivalent) of college coursework
Excellent writing skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and creatively
Strong long‑form and short‑form writing abilities
Experience with Adobe InDesign
Assist with social media management and content creation
Assist in planning and scheduling posts across social media platforms
Ability to create engaging social media content including photo posts and short‑form video
Ability to coordinate and assist with photo and video shoots
Demonstrated ability to be creative and work collaboratively
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to climb stairs multiple times throughout shifts
Flexibility, enthusiasm and a sense of humor a must
Preferred Attributes
Major in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or English
Graphic design skills including basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud programs
Photography and videography experience preferred
