Job Description Segment Marketing Intern

Job Purpose This position will support our Marketing team as a Summer Intern from June 2026 – August 2026, and will be based in Nashville. This is a paid, full‑time internship.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
Learn about several facets of LP’s marketing team, including Segment, Innovation, and Brand
Support the Segment Marketing team with market, product, and competitive research to inform strategic initiatives.
Gather, analyze, and summarize data on customer segments, industry trends, and competitor activity.
Assist in developing marketing materials, presentations, and sales enablement assets for product segments.
Participate in the development and refinement of marketing campaigns for key customer audiences.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Sales and Pricing and Programming to support integrated marketing efforts.
Assist with monitoring campaign performance metrics and preparing reports or insights for leadership.
Support content creation for internal and external use, including basic copywriting, fact‑checking, and asset updates.
Provide general project support across the Segment Marketing team, helping keep initiatives moving and organized.
Complete a capstone project in a specialized area of marketing and share the final deliverable with leadership
Receive coaching and mentorship from experienced marketing professionals
Gain exposure to the building materials and construction industries
Experience LP’s industry‑leading culture and have fun!
What do I need to be successful?
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Familiarity with basic marketing concepts and principles
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Interpersonal and communication skills
Education Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Marketing
Work Environment
This position will work from home and in our Nashville office on a hybrid schedule.
