Job Purpose The Marketing Summer Intern will support the marketing team in bringing the BritBox brand to life across all customer touchpoints. Working across both on-platform and off-platform channels, the intern will contribute to the development of compelling creative and messaging that aligns with brand strategy and business objectives.

This role provides additional capacity during peak periods while offering meaningful exposure to team development and leadership. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver effective copywriting and support high-impact marketing initiatives. In doing so, they will gain hands‑on experience contributing to innovative, high-value projects while bringing fresh perspectives to the team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Compose copy for CRM newsletters, radio and podcast scripts, out-of-home (OOH), paid social, creative partnerships, Amazon ads, landing pages, and editorial metadata

Identify and articulate unique selling points for BritBox content, ensuring they are communicated clearly and effectively

Ensure consistent brand voice in line with current guidelines

Research BritBox's content including sample‑watching and sourcing existing copy from public and distributor resources

Gather quotes from press and reviews to be incorporated into marketing material

Collaborate with BritBox designers to optimize copy to fit within visual asset parameters

Knowledge and Experience

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

Ability to take feedback constructively and continuously improve

Imaginative wit and an intrinsic sense of humor

Capability to uphold objectives of brand consistency, customer conversion, and engagement

Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines

Insight-driven approach, with understanding of KPIs and customer behavior across diverse environments including social networks, web, email, paid media, and OOH

Advanced skills in fact‑checking, proofreading, grammar, and spelling

Passion for alliteration and creative language

Familiarity with AI tools and prompt writing is a pl us

Salary Range $17/hour base salary

Please note that the salary range is intended to give as an indicator of the salaries that could be attributed to the breadth or experience for a given role. All candidates will be measured based on their level of experience.
