Position Summary The Summer Intern, Brand will support the Well People marketing team across sampling initiatives, brand storytelling, cultural moments, and events. This role offers hands‑on exposure to how a clean beauty brand connects with Millennial and Gen X audiences through thoughtful marketing, community engagement, and purpose‑driven campaigns.

Responsibilities

Sampling & Campaign Support

Support product sampling campaigns by helping develop messaging and execution plans to introduce Well People products to health‑conscious audiences

Track campaign performance, analyze results, and share insights to inform future sampling initiatives

Trendspotting & Cultural Moments

Monitor beauty trends and cultural moments relevant to Millennial and Gen X audiences

Identify opportunities for Well People to show up authentically during key moments such as International Women’s Month, Pride, and Latin Heritage Month

Track competitor activity within the clean beauty and wellness space

Event Coordination

Assist with planning and coordinating brand events, including product launches, influencer activations, and external pop‑ups

Support event logistics such as materials, product inventory, and on‑site setup

Collect post‑event feedback and insights to help improve future activations

Additional Marketing Support

Support brand storytelling through marketing narratives, reporting, presentations, and other marketing initiatives

Assist with cross‑functional projects aligned with Well People’s mission of clean beauty, innovation, and accessibility

Requirements

Must be available for the full internship period: June 17th - August 21st

Must be a rising junior or senior at the time of the internship

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

Must be based in Los Angeles

Strong interest in clean beauty, wellness, and sustainability

Creative storyteller with a proactive approach to identifying trends and opportunities

Familiarity with social platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, and an understanding of community engagement

Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment

Business Rationale

This summer, the Brand Intern will support the small but mighty Well People marketing team across initiatives that shape brand presence and connection with core Millennial and Gen X audiences. The role will contribute to sampling programs, brand storytelling, competitor analysis, and event support for both key launches and evergreen moments—helping the team execute thoughtfully while staying culturally relevant.

$20 - $20 an hour
