AmTrust Financial is looking for a creative, motivated, and technically-savvy
Video Production Intern
to join our in-house video department. This is a hands‑on opportunity to help produce professional corporate content for a global insurance leader.
You will work directly under the
Director of Video Marketing , assisting in every stage of the production pipeline—from strategy to delivering polished, high‑impact content.
This will be a great opportunity to build your portfolio of work with an established organization.
Responsibilities
Post‑Production:
Assist in editing internal and external video projects, including brand stories, interviews, and social media content.
Production Support:
Help set up and tear down camera equipment, lighting rigs, and audio gear for in‑studio and on‑location shoots.
Motion Graphics:
Utilize After Effects to create lower thirds, title cards, and simple graphic overlays.
Media Management:
Organize raw footage, manage project backups, and assist in maintaining our digital asset library.
Creative Collaboration:
Participate in brainstorming sessions and storyboard development for upcoming marketing campaigns.
Qualifications Required
Rising Senior (graduating December 2026 or May 2027) actively pursuing bachelor’s degree in related field
Software Proficiency:
Experience with
Adobe Premiere Pro
is required. You should have a solid understanding of a non‑linear editing workflow.
Visual Effects:
Proficiency in
Adobe After Effects
for basic compositing and motion graphics.
Technical Knowledge:
Foundational experience operating digital cinema cameras (DSLR/Mirrorless or professional camcorders) and a basic understanding of 3‑point lighting.
Animation (Plus):
Experience with 2D or 3D animation is a significant advantage but not strictly required.
Attention to Detail:
A "good eye" for framing, color, and pacing.
Communication:
Ability to take creative direction and work effectively within a fast‑paced marketing team.
