About the Role ButcherBox is seeking an enthusiastic and curious intern to join the Member Marketing Team to assist the team and help achieve our goals. You will gain hands‑on experience in the e‑commerce and food industries as part of our marketing department, focusing on project support for our retention and reactivation marketing programs. You will have the opportunity to learn how an internal marketing team operates, what KPI's are used, and how they apply to our work.

Responsibilities

Participate in all team and department meetings as an active member of the Member Marketing Team

Work cross-functionally to get exposure to other departments as a part of the Member Marketing Team

Partner with the Member Marketing team on strategic projects and revenue-driving initiatives

Assist in email campaign Building, Execution, QA, and Reporting

Implement competitive analysis and share insights/recommendations/examples with Member Marketing team

Meet once per week with ButcherBox’s People Ops team and interns from other department to share challenges, wins, and knowledge

Requirements

Ability and willingness to commute to our Watertown, MA office at least twice per week

Undergraduate currently pursuing a degree in Marketing or a relevant major

Completed Coursework in Marketing, Communications, or related field

Strong organizational and communication skills

Proficiency in Excel

Ability to learn quickly and multi-task in a fast‑faced, dynamic environment

Experience in sales, customer service, or similar a big plus

Compensation: $22/hour
