Otsuka’s internship program, Intern the Otsuka Way (InTOW), offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop critical skills while contributing to meaningful projects. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, learn about the complexities of the pharmaceutical industry, and gain insights into potential career paths. By combining practical experience with professional development, our program prepares interns for future success. Our internship program also includes instructor led trainings, a leadership engagement series, as well as insightful lunch and learns. **Duration of internship:** June 1, 2026, through August 10, 2026.

The Marketing Intern will support brand planning and brand promotion including personal and non-personal promotion execution, gaining insight and perspective in the nephrology/immunology and rare disease arena. The intern will gain hands-on exposure and experience supporting the full brand planning cycle and assisting with the execution of promotional assets from strategic development through delivery, while working collaboratively with cross-functional marketing and agency partners. **Key Responsibilities:** * Support activities across the brand planning cycle for major pharmaceutical brands.* Assist in the execution of brand promotion initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.* Support the pull-through of promotional assets from brand strategy to final delivery.* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to help coordinate marketing materials and timelines.* Assist with preparation of presentations, summaries, and documentation related to brand planning and promotional execution.* Contribute ideas and insights to support ongoing brand and marketing initiatives.**Minimum:*** Undergraduate or graduate student graduating in the next 12-18 months pursuing a degree in Marketing, Pharmaceutical Marketing, Business, or related discipline.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.* Authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.* Can commit to full duration of internship program.* Authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the internship**Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*** Driven, curious, and highly **collaborative** mindset.* Demonstrated **ambition and initiative**, evidenced through academic projects, internships, or extracurricular marketing engagements.* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.* Interest in healthcare or pharmaceutical marketing is a plus.* Demonstrates behaviors aligned with the Otsuka Corporate Brand including Perseverance, Unconventional Thinking, and Humility.* Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment.* Demonstrate ability to think creatively to solve complex problems.* Exhibits eagerness to learn and ability to learn quickly.**Competencies**
