THE POSITION Porter Law Firm is seeking a full‑time, paid Marketing Intern for Summer 2026. This role will work closely with the Marketing Director to support research, social media campaigns, content creation, podcast promotion, and event planning. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, creative, and excited to learn how marketing supports a fast‑paced professional services firm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS Research & Strategy Support

Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activity, and target audiences.

Assist with compiling lists for outreach, sponsorships, and event invitations.

Help track marketing initiatives and summarize performance insights.

Social Media & Campaign Execution

Support social media calendar planning and scheduling across platforms (primarily LinkedIn and Instagram).

Draft captions and select visuals.

Support promotion of Porter Law Firm’s podcast by drafting episode launch posts and tracking engagement metrics.

Content Creation & Coordination

Assist with drafting and editing marketing content (posts, newsletter articles, email announcements, website updates).

Support basic design tasks using Canva/PowerPoint (as needed).

Events & Brand Activations

Support planning and logistics for client events and event sponsorships.

DESIRED QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.

Organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Comfortable taking initiative and working in a professional office environment.

Familiarity with social platforms and content best practices (especially LinkedIn).

Experience with Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint/Excel, or similar tools is a plus.

Term: Summer 2026

Schedule: Full‑time (40 hours/week)

Compensation: Paid (hourly)
