As a member of Security Bank & Trust Co.’s Marketing team, the Marketing Intern will assist the Marketing Coordinator while gaining valuable hands-on experience in various marketing tasks and contributing to the Bank’s brand and community presence. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for marketing. This paid internship (May – September) offers 30-40 hours per week with potential for full-time employment upon completion. Availability for occasional evening and weekend events is required. Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and executing bank-sponsored events, including logistics, setup, and onsite coordination. Create and curate content (written, graphic, and video) for social media platforms to promote Security Bank & Trust Co.’s brand, culture, and services. Monitor social media channels and respond to user comments and messages in a professional and timely manner. Track and report social media metrics, including engagement, impressions, and follower growth, for internal review. Prepare, Proofread and edit marketing materials, including advertisements, email campaigns, social media posts, press releases, and brochures. Support the development of new marketing initiatives, such as influencer research, guest blogging, and email marketing. Gain a thorough understanding of the Bank’s products and services to accurately represent them in marketing efforts. Conduct customer and market research to assist with audience targeting and campaign development. Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Proficiency in social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on accuracy and clarity. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Interest or experience in video production and photography is a plus. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
