family of companies. We’re looking for a creative and driven Marketing Intern to help bring our customer engagement strategy to life. In this role, you’ll play an active part in creating compelling digital content and executing in‑person customer events that inspire connection and excitement. Your work will directly support increased traffic and sales across our seventeen brick‑and‑mortar retail locations, giving you hands‑on experience with real impact in a fast‑paced retail environment.
This position is designed and intended to be performed in Gray, ME and will support 17 retail locations across New England and New York.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and produce original, on‑brand social content for Facebook and Instagram
Capture and edit high‑quality short‑form video and lifestyle photography that showcase customer experience and create engaging customer content
Work directly with the retail stores Marketing Coordinator for exposure to multiple aspects of retail marketing
Work closely with retail store managers to plan and execute specific in‑store events aligned with content goals (Bangor, Augusta, North Yarmouth, and Windham locations primarily)
Engage with internal, cross‑functional teams, utilize internal tools and conduct store visits to gather insights to influence content development
Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions for future campaigns, product launches, potential influencers, and social strategies
Assist in scheduling and publishing content across brand channels
Research market trends and developments relevant to campaign subject matter
Help develop plans to drive product performance and/or event attendance to ultimately increase sales
Design merchandise displays in collaboration with the retail merchandising committee
Education, Experience and/or Qualifications
Working toward a degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, or Business with Marketing focus
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
Familiarity with conducting competitive analyses
Comfortable working independently when needed
Basic understanding of key marketing principles – completion of a minimum of two marketing related classes
Travel
Regional travel to seventeen retail locations required occasionally
