Hall County Women, Infants & Children's (WIC) Department is seeking a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative with Hall County Health at the Georgia Department of Public Health - District 2, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives in a variety of ways.

Benefits 40‑hour work week (Monday‑Friday), 13 paid holidays/yr., 3 weeks each of annual & sick leave/yr., a defined benefit retirement plan including a 401(K) plan with employer matching, health and payroll deductible flexible benefits including employee, spouse and child life, AD&D, dental, vision, legal, long‑term care, short and long‑term disability and specified illness options. Job Responsibilities Customer Service Representative 2:

Under general supervision, works and communicates with the general public, internal customers and/or external customers to provide information and services targeted to meet customer expectations. May resolve complicated issues and research governing policies, procedures or laws to respond to clients or visitors.

Customer Service Representative 3:

Under broad supervision, works and communicates with the general public, internal customers and/or external customers to provide information and recommendations targeted to meet customer expectations. Resolves complicated issues and researches governing policies, procedures or laws to respond to clients or visitors.

General List Of Job Duties: Completing participant intake in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, maintaining clinic flow, answering phone calls and emails, making appointment reminders, working on clinic reports, and communicating and coordinating with colleagues.

Minimum Qualifications Customer Service Representative 2 High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of experience communicating information in a customer‑service setting; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Customer Svc Rep 1 (GST120) or equivalent position.

Customer Service Representative 3 High school diploma/GED and three (3) years of experience communicating information in a customer‑service setting; or two (2) years of experience required at the lower level Customer Svc Rep 2 (GST121).

Preferred Qualification To be able to speak, read and write Spanish.

Additional Information Current State employees are subject to State Personnel Board rules regarding salary.

DPH accepts educational credentials recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the U.S. Department of Education (DOE). DPH will contact educational institutions to verify degree, diploma, licensure, etc.
