Marketing Intern

This internship takes place in the fall, typically beginning in late August or early September.

As a Marketing Intern, you’ll support EveryMind’s Marketing team with a focus on digital storytelling, short‑form video content, and day‑to‑day marketing operations.
Schedule:
Flexible, part‑time (16-24 hours/week during business hours, M–F).
Location:
EveryMind Headquarters, Rockville, MD (with hybrid opportunities).
Key Responsibilities
Brainstorm and help develop short‑form video content ideas for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Assist with recording video and photo content in‑office and at program‑related activities.
Assist with marketing administrative tasks, including content scheduling support, post tracking, and file organization.
Help gather stories, quotes, and visuals that highlight EveryMind’s programs, partnerships, and impact.
Be open to appearing on camera and participating in marketing content when appropriate.
Managing event inventory: tracking supplies, placing and monitoring orders, and updating records.
Supporting outreach events: adding approved events to the calendar, preparing materials, coordinating event briefs, and attending events if needed to represent the organization.
Frequent travel between sites.
Assisting volunteer engagement: participating in volunteer information sessions and trainings, helping with logistics, and sending communications to staff and volunteers.

Qualifications
Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student studying Marketing, Communications, Public Health, or a related field.
Interest in mental health marketing and communications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Instagram, Facebook.
Some in‑person availability is required for content capture.
Tech savvy; comfortable using a smartphone for video and photo recording.
Previous customer service experience preferred; leadership qualities are desirable.
Reliable transportation; will go to regular outreach events.
