Marketing Intern at Garden with Ellie

Do you love plants, gardens, and design? Garden with Ellie is a residential landscape design and build firm based in Northern VA. We strive to create stunning, practical landscapes that reflect our clients' personality, lifestyle, and needs. We are hiring a part‑time, paid marketing intern for the fall/winter semester. You'll support our team with social media, email and web marketing, and key marketing initiatives that grow the Garden with Ellie brand.
Responsibilities
Content creation for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other platforms (creating content, writing captions, selecting photos & videos, creating graphics in Canva, editing short‑form video).
Supporting the development and scheduling of our social media content calendar.
Helping brainstorm and research creative marketing ideas aligned with our brand voice.
Capturing and organizing behind‑the‑scenes content at events and garden installations.
Supporting marketing‑related admin tasks such as organizing content and tracking analytics.
Collaborating with the Garden with Ellie to ensure brand consistency across platforms.
Assisting with blog drafting, website updates, and email marketing campaigns.
Other projects may be assigned based on your skills and interests.
Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Well‑versed in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest).
Basic design skills and comfort using tools like Canva and CapCut.
"Chronically online" and excited to translate that into creative marketing ideas.
"A people person," excited to connect with others and build relationships.
Enthusiasm for plants, gardens, and design!
