Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Account Manager based in Fremont, CA. We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic team at Mean Well USA Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing key distribution accounts in the North American market.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Sales team , Engineering team and the customer to provide an efficient and comprehensive service; establish and maintain solid relationships.
Developing and increasing the growth of business with existing customers.
Travel 8-12 times a year in support of sales or training meetings, customer site visits, and/or trade shows.
Handling sales and service phone calls supporting current customers to solicit orders in an assigned territory
Selecting the correct products or assisting customers in making product selections based on their needs, product specifications and all other applicable regulations.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Prepare reports on account status
Satisfactory problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or need
Up-to-date understanding of the industry’s consumer behavior
Develop an annual sales business plan to meet the sales target.
Requirements
Mandarin speaking is preferred
Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four- year college or university
A minimum of 3-5 years experience in enterprise level B2B sales and account management in the area of power supply products technology
Experienced in working with distributor and project management
Excellent time management, follow-up, and organizational skills to successfully plan and execute technical sales activities
Dynamic, motivated, driven, professional and detailed-oriented
Ability to learn and retain product specific information as it pertains to the position.
Negotiation skills to close contracts
Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
Exceptional analytical skills for interpreting client data
