Hours for this position are: Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Role
Assist members with real estate loan applications; loan processing/closings and loan disbursements Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Maintains the highest standard of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality Reviews residential loan application files to verify that application data is complete and meets credit union standards, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment; recommends that loans not meeting standards be denied Prepare loan application forms; submits mortgage loan application files for underwriting approval Prepares closing documents and/or loan modification documents for new and existing loans Calls specified companies to obtain property abstract, survey, and appraisal; informs supervisor of discrepancies in title or survey Records data on status of loans, including number of new applications and loans approved, canceled, or denied Assists with periodic RE Operations projects such as homeowners insurance follow up, property tax payments, construction draws and escrow analysis Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED Required Experience
0 - 1 year of general experience Other Skills
Attention to Detail Collaboration and Teamwork Communication Decision Making Loan Processing Maintain working knowledge of all mortgage products and rates, both within the Credit Union and from the industry as a whole Microsoft Office Products Mortgage Origination Software NMLS registration will be required upon hire Problem Solving Quality Assurance Process Time Management and Organization Full-Time Employee Benefits Package
