Responsibilities
Provide advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution, and advanced sales functions across deposit, credit, convenience, and other product and service lines.
Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by developing, expanding, and retaining client relationships.
Support team sales by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex needs to internal specialists.
Participate in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
Advance knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through meetings, training, and web-based learning.
Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
Adhere to internal controls, procedures, and risk management policies; stay informed of policy changes to ensure compliance.
Engage clients with courteous service during transactions and help them navigate the branch; may include greeting clients and assisting with teller transactions.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of client sales and service experience
Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building client relationships
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
SAFE compliance within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check and ongoing regulatory requirements
Ability to multi-task under time constraints
Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs and occasional locale changes
Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree or higher
Ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional service quality and demeanor
Experience discussing, recommending, and selling deposit, credit, and retirement products to consumers and small business clients
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
General understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures
