Overview

Purpose

The Senior Sales BI Analyst (AI Enablement focus) will play a critical role in accelerating analytics modernization and practical AI adoption across the commercial organization. This role will initially focus on supporting the implementation and enablement of Tableau Next, partnering closely with IT and business stakeholders to drive adoption, governance, and value realization. This position will identify and pilot practical, commercial AI use cases that enhance productivity and insight generation, translating emerging capabilities into real business impact.

Responsibilities Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear requirements, analytical questions, and measurable outcomes; document end-to-end requirements

Develop and maintain data models / curated datasets (overlays/lookups, metric logic, semantic layers) in conjunction with IT that enable scalable, consistent analytics and reporting

Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and reporting in Tableau and Salesforce with strong usability, clear KPI logic/definitions, and stakeholder-ready output

Deliver high-quality ad hoc analysis and recurring insights by sourcing, structuring, synthesizing, and analyzing data to produce actionable recommendations

Ensure data integrity and explainability through validation, documentation, and “one source of truth” practices that stakeholders can trust

Map business processes and improve workflows by documenting current state, defining future state, and identifying opportunities to simplify and scale

Partner closely with IT and cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, SIOP) to align priorities, resolve data/reporting issues, and deliver scalable solutions

Establish and follow analytics standards (governance, metric definitions, performance optimization, self-service standards) to keep solutions consistent and maintainable across traditional and AI-enabled workflows

Champion continuous improvement and automation by gathering feedback, prioritizing enhancements, and reducing manual effort through standardization

Model customer-first behaviors and Roseburg core values in daily execution and partnership

Artificial Intelligence Enablement Lead rollout and enablement of TableauNext across the commercial organization (data readiness, semantic layers, dashboards, user experience)

Identify, prioritize, and drive practical AI / agentic analytics use cases that improve commercial effectiveness and outcomes (e.g., margin enhancement) partnering with IT to ensure scalability and governance

Serve as thought partner to senior Commercial leaders on future-state analytics strategy, including the role of AI, automation, and emerging tools in commercial decision-making

Create enablement materials (training, documentation, playbooks) that translate AI and analytics capabilities into clear, accessible guidance for non-technical commercial users

Measure and communicate the impact of analytics and AI initiatives using clear success metrics and stakeholder-ready storytelling

Qualifications

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field

5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or commercial analytics roles

Hands-on experience with Tableau; Tableau Cloud/Server strongly preferred

Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate business questions into data-driven solutions

Working familiarity with AI concepts and tools, with a focus on applied business use

Excellent communication skills and ability to enable non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications MBA

Experience supporting enterprise analytics platform implementations or major analytics transformations

Exposure to AI-enabled analytics tools, copilots, or productivity platforms

Experience working in commercial functions such as sales, marketing, or revenue operations

Comfort operating in a fast-changing environment with evolving tools and requirements
