Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused
Account Manager
who thrives on client connection, retention, and problem-solving. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term partnerships, helping clients succeed, and staying organized while juggling client management, retention efforts, and light recruiting support. You’ll be the primary point of contact for many of our clients—strengthening relationships, reconnecting with inactive accounts, and ensuring we continue delivering exceptional service that reflects the Express brand. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients Proactively contact inactive or missing clients to re-engage and assess needs Serve as a trusted advisor—understanding client challenges and offering staffing solutions Partner with the recruiting team to support hiring needs and candidate placements Monitor client satisfaction, retention, and ongoing workforce performance Assist with recruiting activities as needed (candidate follow-ups, screenings, job order support) Learn and uphold Express Employment Professionals’ systems, processes, and service standards Represent Express professionally in the local Waterford and Oakland County business community What We’re Looking For
Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone A relationship-builder with a customer-first mindset Organized, self-disciplined, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Willingness to learn our business, clients, and industries we serve Team-oriented attitude with a strong sense of accountability Previous account management, customer service, sales, or recruiting experience is a plus—but not required Why People Love Working Here
