First Lutheran Church of Crystal | Part-Time
First Lutheran Church of Crystal is in search of our next Church Musician! We are looking for a candidate who can:
Provide all piano and/or organ accompaniment for the musical elements of worship at 9:30 on Sunday mornings and occasionally on other special service days (Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Rotating Wednesdays during Lent and Advent, Maundy Thursday, Easter)
Prepare and perform preludes, postludes, anthems and other music appropriate to the season and themes of the worship services.
Regularly meet and coordinate with Pastor, staff and congregation
Compensation of at least $350 per Sunday (and Christmas Eve) and $200 per evening service depending on education and experience. Flat monthly rate also possible.
Additional services such as weddings and funerals first offered to you for acceptance or refusal. Pay for these services will come directly from the families or individuals requesting your services. Rate of pay will be determined by you.
Three weeks of vacation (not more than three Sundays).
Of course, we would make a more personalized offer based on your qualifications.
